​Gobind Sarvar Brampton is seeking a skilled and experienced High School Science Teacher to teach students in Grades 9 and 10. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the Ontario Science curriculum and a commitment to developing students’ analytical and problem-solving skills.​

Requirements and Responsibilities:

• Teaching experience is mandatory; applications without prior teaching experience will not be considered.

• Experience teaching Science at the senior/intermediate level is strongly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of the Ontario Science curriculum, including teaching methodologies to support learning.

• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that meet a range of learning needs and promote critical thinking.Proficiency in using a variety of assessment tools to monitor progress, provide feedback, and support student growth.

• Must be fluent in English with excellent oral, written, and reading communication skills.

• OCT certification is recommended; applicants who have applied for OCT will also be considered.

• Strong classroom management, organization, and the ability to foster a respectful, inclusive, and academically focused environment.

• Willingness to collaborate with colleagues, engage families, and contribute to school-wide literacy goals and event.
